Something that I have been hoping to do for the past 15 years has finally been done, I took as many of the kids and grandkids that I could get ahold of and we went to Woodward Park in Tulsa. I was able to have Landon and Kayla, Emersyn and Kadence Morris, and the Million kids as well as Linda and I to take some fantastic pictures at Woodward! I have not had the opportunity to take pictures there since high school!

Fun Night with Granddaughters
Rainee, Chloe, Kadence and Emersyn joined Grandma to make a Princess cake tonight. I was the ‘third wheel’ on this “Girls’ Night Out”.

It has been a bit of time since I have updated my BLOG so I thought I would give a few highlights:
Linda and I took Stormie back to Hot Springs and spent the weekend with Linda’s sister, Judy. We had an awesome time, enjoyed seeing Judy, Anet, and Niles. Stormie had a great two weeks with Linda and I and was a great joy to have around. Chloe and Alec went to Hot Springs with us and had a blast at the Mid-America Science Museum. The museum alone was worth the trip! Alec had a blast building, what I think, would be his dream house!
Linda has fallen in love with our new carpet and living room! That made a massive change in how our house looks!
Michael and Felicia are in their last two weeks in Tulsa. They are moving to Houston, where Felicia will be going to college. Michael will probably continue working with WalMart as a Pharmacy Tech. He is loving this job and we hope to see them a few more times before they make their way to Houston.
Speaking of jobs, Matthew will be back at EMSA soon! He completed his coursework for Paramedic and is certified now. He will be starting the new Academy next week! Congratulations, Matthew.
Jose’ is home now and is getting his life back on track. We missed Jose’ and are praying for his success.
My former Father-In-Law, Lehman Jones, was hospitalized and is undergoing treatment and testing. Lehman is 84 and is need of prayers. Lehman and Patti were long time parishioners of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and now attend St. Pius X. My friend, Fr. Boniface, O.S.B. has graciously offered Masses for his healing, for which I, Lehman and Patti are very grateful. Lehman taught at Tulsa Community College up until the Summer term. I pray that he will regain his health sufficiently to return to the classroom.
Drew should be returning to St. Gregory’s soon as a Proctor in the Honor’s Hall.

As mentioned on FaceBook, one door closes and another opens. I had a weekend off due to a job change. I finally am teaching again. I begin as Adjunct Professor at CareerPoint College teaching High School equivalency in the mornings Monday through Thursday and Business Spanish and Speech in the evenings. I will have Friday through Sunday free so will enjoy the long weekends with the family. I took advantage this week to set up the backyard pool for the grandkids and we took them to the Zoo this morning!
I am attaching some pictures of the trip. Enjoy!

As Chandler recovers from his injuries and has to miss a week of school, we are pleased and hopeful that he will fully recover. Chances of the woman being caught dwindle and the days pass. I hope that she will find it in her heart to look at her own family and give thanks that there is no one out there like her that would do the same to her children or nieces or nephews. One can only imagine what could have gone through her mind as she drove away from a child that she hit with her car last Saturday, seeing an injured child in her rear view mirror.
So far, as the school year draws to a close, Rainee had a choir concert (pictures included here) and Alec is ‘graduating’ from Kindergarten today.

The weather finally is cooperating and we are having a great time outside yesterday.
The morning was busy as J went to Shawnee to help Drew pack up and head back home for the summer. Drew will be a “Prefect” on the Honor’s Floor next year, what we used to call “Resident Advisor” or “RA”. We are proud of Drew and look forward to catching up with him as he is back over the summer!

and a Royal Wedding too! It was a busy Friday! Linda and I went up to Berryhill Elementary to see Chloe deliver her line at the school Assembly. We weren’t sure we were on time, it was a ‘squeeker’ but I walked in just in time for the start. I am putting up some video as well of the fun event.
Alec also had his birthday, we recorded his mention on Channel 6 as well. Rainee was dressed up as Cleopatra using Linda’s costume from last Halloween. She was as cute as could be. Linda and I went around the classrooms and took pictures with Alec (Alec and I), Rainee (Linda and Rainee), and Chloe in the auditorium (Linda, Chloe, and Frances).
And, enjoy Chloe’s Dance!
Kids Finally Out of the House!
Well, stranded inside for several days has not killed anyone! We have had our share of adventures, getting out to go to the store has been a real adventure! Watching all the crazy drivers, clogging up intersections and Quik Trip would have been fine to watch if I wasn’t hoping to survive their idiocy!
