Finally! Family Pictures

BlogPiccs placeholder

Something that I have been hoping to do for the past 15 years has finally been done, I took as many of the kids and grandkids that I could get ahold of and we went to Woodward Park in Tulsa. I was able to have Landon and Kayla, Emersyn and Kadence Morris, and the Million kids as well as Linda and I to take some fantastic pictures at Woodward! I have not had the opportunity to take pictures there since high school!

Christmas 2011

Well, the ending of 2011 did not come the way we had anticipated, I am no longer teaching and tomorrow is not as secure as I had hoped. I know that the future is in God’s hands. We had a wonderful Christmas, however, and that is what is important today. Michael surprised me by being able to come down from Houston, that was a glorious gift. He is safe and secure and things are looking up for him.

We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Day, I went to Mass and came back to a house full of Landon’s brood, Michael and Andrew. Emersyn calls Andrew the “other uncle Michael”. That was cute! Michael returned on Monday for a belated celebration with Frances and her four kids. Rainee, Michael and I were able to see the Doctor Who Christmas Special together. A new Christmas Tradition!

Christmas at the Arroyos

From the dance party on Christmas Eve, followed by Mass of the Nativity at St. Catherine at Midnight, to our opening of gifts at our house on Christmas evening, the Arroyo family celebrated Christmas with the grandkids and most of the kids.

Anniversary Getaway

This past weekend marked our 12th Anniversary (March 14th). Linda and I had a wonderful time getting away to a local Bed and Breakfast, the Crow’s Rest, going out for Steak and Lobster at Elements and spending an evening at a casino (we didn’t come home rich!). I included a few pictures from the Crow’s Rest.

We definitely want to thank Landon, Kayla and Kadence Morris for making our getaway possible. While we were away, they volunteered to take care of our dogs and really made it a worry-free weekend.

Halloween was busy!

Well, we had 5 of our 13 grandchildren over for Halloween this year. We also saw 3 of our 6 kids with an addition of Michael’s girlfriend, Felicia! Whew! It was busy! Of our kids, Frances, Landon and Michael were over at some point during the day and night, Rainee, Chloe, Alec, Brody and Kadence were over for the festivities! I am attaching some pictures of the fun!

Kadence Dances

Kadence was such a cutie at Alec’s Birthday party. Some might say that she was close to stealing the show!
